Romance doesn’t have to be big and flashy.
Sometimes the littlest things that can be just perfect and exactly what’s needed. Your other half will think you’re a mind reader. If you know they’re going to be late home from work or are feeling tired run them a bath with a difference. Transport them to a spa: light a candle, *ahem* maybe you choose a holiday inspired scent, or a bath bomb. Leave their favourite book or their iPad to one side to load up their favourite series that you hate and a glass of something cold or indulgent. Sometimes allowing someone some ‘me time’ and a chance to relax, allows them to come back to you with more energy and appreciate you even more. No matter who you are everyone deserves and secretly loves a bubble bath and a pamper. -
Recreate a memorable meal.
If you can’t go back to where you met, try recreating it at home. Maybe it was your first date or when you met the parents…reminiscing and cooking together without distraction will not only revoke those same feelings but give you a chance to connect without distraction - which is a hard thing to create time sometimes.

3. DIY together.
Not that kind of DIY. Dive into YouTube video and open your kitchen cupboard or head to your local supermarket for supplies for a homemade pamper evening. Beautiful body scrubs can be made from coconut oil, regular sugar and a sprinkle of coffee or discover how to make a face and body mask. Grab your bath robes and takeover the bathroom, massage in upward circular motions towards the heart, before showering off. This fun and physical intimacy allows you to take care of each other and do something silly.
